Splatoon
a series that i've invested more of my childhood into than i'd like to admit. nintendos' evelevator pitch of a game no sits as one of their best ones. there's no shooter quite like it not just for the fact that it's ink based, but just the aspects around the game itself make gear-building and every other aspect feel so rewarding along with world building with insane levels of detail. i'd remember sneaking onto my wii u late at night to play whatever rotation was up for ranked modes. hopefully nintendo gets better at balancing (and map design, jesus christ) but i absolutely adore splatoon.
